What's the best way to clean gamecube discs?

While playing metroid prime the game froze on me and I got a little angry.  When I looked at the disc it had something that looked like hair and a finger print on it.  How and what is the best way to clean the disc?

Well, I've heard Metroid Prime is prone to crashing...

But for cleaning, I just use a soft, dry cloth and wipe the disc is clockwise rotations, same as any other CD/DVD disc.
The GC discs seem to take a fair bit of punsihment, which is nice. When I hired out Clone Wars, it looked like somebody had tried to unclog their toilet with it (I spose it's possible)

I thought you should NEVER wipe a CD in a clockwise rotation??  Always wipe from the inside out or outside in, never in a circular motion.  Am I just mistaken or is it different for the Gamecube for some reason?

Wipe from the inside out, turn your hand a bit, repeat until you go all the way around the cd.   NEVER IN A CIRCULAR MOTION.   NEVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

When I had problems, a Nintendo rep said inside out too.  He also said make it slightly damp as well, then again with a dry cotton cloth.

If you want the ultimate cleaning cloth for both the GOD's as well as the GBA screen, use an Oakley sunglass bag. It works wonders!

I use a special cloth I got from my optician, normally used to wipe clean my sunglasses. But it works really well each time. I also breathe warm air onto it first so it gets damp, and then wipe it.

I usually wipe my games with the end of my shirt very gently.
