Yeah, that's what I figure, too.  Though you can certainly go and debate it till you drop in the Hyrule message place thingy.  Yeah.

Yeah and I just hope that the sequel isnt gonna be on water again!
Due to recent drop offs in enlistment rates the Marines are now looking to highschool drop outs to fill their quotas. Effective imediately there new slogan will be: "Marines we need a few good...ahhh just get in the truck dumbass."

Well the sequel is going to be running on the same engine as WW, just a powered-up one, so it's probably be on water again... The Red Lion boat won't be there I guess (looking at WW's story), and it might even turn out not to be a boat-riding adventure at all... who knows, they only used it 'cause that was the most obvious choice on a water-world. I'd like to see some flying around on a dragon or something, but that's just a wish

Yeah but there was just too little land in WW...we need more land and less water! And I so want to ride epona! And besides I think we should move this chat elsewhere because this is for game help...for this chat we should go to hylian legends...just to let you know

I am stuck in the wind temple. I have gotten the map, the compass, the hookshot, the boss key, released makar from prison, turned on the wind fans and gone to every area in the map that I can access and opened all the treasure chests.

Now, according to the map there is a door in the basement level that leads to the boss area, but I don't see that door.

According to some walkthroughs I found, I should be able to drop down to the basement level and go BELOW the fans somehow, but I see no way to do this. Is there a trigger I missed somewhere that will open the passageway down?

Thanks in advance.

Did you manage to get down to the fan? I don't remember what opened the floor to get down there, but once you reach the fan you'll just have to walk over it when it is stopped, and you'll be able to go down AFAICR...

That's the problem. I can't get down to the fan. All the walkthroughs just say to go beneath the fan, but they don't say what triggers the floor opening up to allow you to go below it. And I've opened every chest and gone to every accessible room in the map. I must be missing something but I don't know what.

Well since you have the hookshot you should be able to get to the fan...you know where the door is to get to the hookshot? Well the fan is right there and all you have to do is wait for the fan to stop and jump down into it...Unless you mean the thing covering the fan...I think you need makar to plant a seed somewhere to open it...but I'm not quite sure...I haven't played the WW for a while now but I'm pretty sure that's what you do...look at your map and see where you haven't gone. That always helps me. Sorry I bet that wasn't much help..was it?

Was it the that dirt area on the bottom floor that you plant a seed?  I honestly can't remember...

Argle, if you're still stuck: i've found a guide for you that describes where the switch you need is. In case you want it it's here : http://www.detstar.com/zeldawindwaker/walkthrus/windtemple/

Look for "You've got your companion back". In this guide they take you to the switch right after you free Makar...

Basically you have to go to the room, where Makar was kidnapped, go up the platforms (by making Makar plant trees on them), and proceed the same in the next room. Behind the next door you'll find two buttons you need to step on.

Are you sure? I thought Makar had to plant his seed in order for the floor to open up so you can get under then fan...but then again, I'm probably wrong since I finished the game long ago.

Where would you find the magic armor?

I've finished the game but still haven't gotten it.

It's quite simple. All you have to do is:

Find the Gorons on bomb island, Greatfish Isle, and Mother and Child Isles. Trade them the flowers that you get from Windfall, and you should finally get all three different types of flowers.  Then go talk to that eskimo guy in Windfall, the one that gives you the flowers to trade, and he should give you the magic armor for completing it.

I hope that helped you some.

You have to do some pattern of trades between Mr. Eskimo and the three Goron merchants...I believe all you need to do is give a flower to one of the merchants, take back what he gave you to the eskimo, then buy it from him again, and take the item to the second merchant, who will in turn give you something new.  Take it back to the eskimo, buy the item back, and take it to the third.  Once you bring the item the last merchant gives you, I believe that is when you get the armor...

I think another, easier way to get the magic armor is to follow the girl on Windfall. In the night, shes near the shop, and you have to follow her from a distance until she gets to the safe and tries to open it. Then you take a picture of her, talk to the girl (who gives you a bottle) and show the Eskimo the picture. Then he gives you the armor.

Really? I didn't even know that! So, can you trade just anything? Or does it have to be the flowers still?
