Wish the Wal-marts around here had people that cared about the games, most wouldn't know the difference being a Wii and an iPod. I remember one time it took an hour just for them to find out if they had an Xbox 360 Elite in on launch day.

DS will have a player's choice line when the DS2 is about to come out, or maybe even later.  That's just how Nintendo is.  They were different for the N64 and the GCN because nothing was selling on those systems and they had to find a way to increase system sales.

Oh and Smash Bros Melee never went Player's Choice.  It still does not have that yellow band across the top.  It still costs $30 to buy it now.

Yes it did, I had to re-buy Melee, and it has the Player's Choice yellow band on it.

It did, for a short while, then it was yanked off player's choice when Nintendo decided all PC games should be $20 and they didn't want to lower the price of SSBM.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.
