Jonny had a prior engagement this week, and as such, he had to pull out of recording RFN. It was looking like it'd just be Mike and I when Player One Podcast pundit, frequent contributor to 1Up, and fellow 'Nole Dan Dormer jumped in to save the show. Together we discuss the August NPD sales data, the inclusion of the PC-Engine CD-ROM games on the Virtual Console, and why Guitar Hero on DS is such a horrible idea.

College sports references aside...

It seems that Mr.Sklens is the relatively the lone dissenter on MP3. The NWR staff have given it glowing written reviews. Maybe he should write one to balance it out?

Though he was right about Kingdom Hearts. Good use of the crystal ball!

Will Smash Bros online-confirmed be a feature segment on next weeks show (Along with post-TGS discussion of course..)?

Isn't it illegal to discriminate against sex, race, and sexual orientation? Even though its a non-paying job, and that 2 out of the 3 positions are overseas (Which I'm sure have similar laws...)? Just sayin'....

Square Enix is making some questionable decisions. I think they're trying to measure how much sway they can create for consoles. After all, it's been put on the table that if anyone could start up on the hardware side, it'd be SE or EA. Right now, I think SE is actually thinking about it.

I think Sony got to them, and is trying to hold onto them as tightly as they are holding onto Konami. I think Sony's basically trying to circle the wagons, and wants one of those wagons to be Squaresoft.
