Jeez, for a few pages I was happy that Sasuke got balanced by being blinded, but nooo, more Genjutsu.

Let's see if Amaterasu can beat Sasuke's Curse Mark transformation...

Can anyone explain to me if we've actually seen Amaterasu? Was that the black flame he used on chapter 144?

Well, the ending narrative implies that it's something we haven't seen before. So, I'm going to assume no. Also, being blind would cripple Sasuke more than balance him. I mean, he would be completely blind as opposed to partially blind, like his brother.

I still think that Sasuke shouldnt beat Itachi, looks like if he beats Amaterasu, Itachi has nothing left.

But come on, if Sasuke gets the Mangekyu Sharingan, he might be able to controll the Nine-Tails, where does that leave Naruto?

The chapter wasn't conclusive. It doesn't say or show who won. At least it got physical and I was more entertained by that rather than the genjutsu battles.

So, the "big reveal" was finding out what exactly Ametseru was. I guess we'll see next issue if Sasuke can pull off a win. It seems that using this technique causes Itachi's eye to bleed, and his vision has already been blurred. By then end of the fight, he should have binded himself. The question just remains if Sasuke can/will take Itatchi's own eyes for hiself.

No, I don't think it would. It would make Sasuke a whole lot stronger than Naruto plus the ability to control the Nine-Tails.

SO! Both Itachi and Sasuke seem to be fresh out of chakra; however, Sasuke seems to has one last jutsu up his sleeve. What is it? Will it work? And what was up with his eyes in that last frame?

I dunno. I felt that it was more that "Itatchi missed." It was more like Sasuke was actually able to avoid and dodge, but at the same time, it was too anticlimatic. The issue came down to Itachi's last resort failing with ease. I was fairly disappointed.

Ok. So, this week was "Sasuke missed, lol!" Well, that sucks, but Itachi is FINALLY on his last jutsu, so maybe this will fight will end at last. We can only hope.

Wow. I looked at the first post from Aug 25 and was shocked at how long it's been since I thought this fight was going to happen. Anyway, I'll be spending the rest of the weekend cleaning, traveling and all the while thinking of endings that are less climatic. I might need all of Spring Break for this.

Haven't updated this in a minute. Well, Itatchi's still dead and now Tobi has kidnapped Sasuke. Apparently, Tobi (or Madara) knows everything about Itatchi, who has implanted all of his eye techniques in Sasuke. I was actually hoping for more info about Itatchi this week, but I guess it'll be another 2 weeks before that happens.
