Unlocking in Melee?
« on: August 22, 2007, 04:45:03 AM »
My friend told me that in the first super smash brohters, you can play as Sonic or tails if you unlock them.  He said he read it in a magazine, then showed it to me, so I know it is true.  Anyone ever done it before?  I bet its cool - I wish I could do it, but I cant get very far in cruel melee. I'm not a very good player, but its a fun game. I can't wait for the new one to come out, only I wish it wasn't coming out for the stupid Wii.  Who needs to look like a total dork when playing a game?  They should make the new game for the Xbox 360 - the graphics on that thing is awesome!  I hope you get to play as Master Chief in the new game, that would be pretty cool.

thanks for reading guys... I hope the next game is online... I cant wait to kick all of your butts.

Not true.

It was an April Fool's joke.

In fact, I think this post is an April Fool's joke, just way too late.

I must find a way to use "burninate" more in my daily speech.

This thread has lock and ban all over it...

Seriously, this is a Nintendo based forums. If you come here to insult the Wii that qualifies as being a troll. If you want to talk about the 360 (which is a fine system), you can either go to the general gaming board, or even better, go to another website.

Second, Brawl is going to feature traditional controls, even when using the Wiimote and the Wiimote and nunchuck, so there's nothing to worry about "looking stupid" as we play.

But you won't be around for long...

Actually since this if the funhouse it is fair game.

I will take the thread seriously for a moment.  EGM did have shots of Sonic and Tails in Melee during its APRIL issue.

As in it was a fake for April Fools Day...and not real in any way.  But, just so you know...Melee is not the first Smash Brothers Game it is the second.

Oh and yeah Microsoft needs to partner with Rare and its third parties to create the ultimate Xbox 360 FPS party game...where you can fight as characters from all of the First Person and Third Person fighters released on the 360...and then people will realize that the 360 really only has like 10 different games, and the rest are just clones of each other like Captain Falcon and Gannondorf are clones, they play differently, but really are basically the same.
