Topic: Looking for Pokemon Trades and Battles

I'm looking for people to either battle with me or trade. My friend code is 0602 2989 6527. I have the Diamond version if that makes any difference.

As far as trades go, I'm looking for:

-The Johto Starters (Chikorita and Cyndaquil, I have Totodile)

- The Hoenn Starters (Treeko, Torchic and Mudkip)

- Pidgey (The Pidgey swarm never seems to happen...)

- Elekid (preferably with the Electrizer item attached)

- Magby (preferably with the Magmarizer item attached)

- Houndour

I have and can breed the Kanto and Sinnoh starters if anyone is interested in those, and I can breed for a few rare Pokemon like Dratini, Larvitar, Bagon and those types. I also have a few hatched Swablu that have Dragon Rush, Ice Beam and Safeguard as egg moves (bred Dragonite with Swablu... yes it works). I won't ask for Legendaries, so I don't expect anyone to ask those of me either (for the sake of fairness). And please, no hacks. I don't mind if they were 'sharked in or you used AR to get them (I breed them in any case), I just don't want actual hacks (like they were made/altered with Pokesav or similar programs). My Pokemon are all legit, so I'd appreciate it if yours were too. Anyway, feel free to make offers. Either post here or PM me, whichever works best for you.

And like I said, if you want to battle, don't hesitate to ask, I'm always up for it!

EDIT: I forgot to mention I'm looking for a few TMs, namely Aerial Ace, Flamethrower, Giga Drain, Ice Beam, Iron Tail, Toxic, Return, Thunderbolt, and Earthquake. This is optional of course, of if you have extras to trade I'd appreciate it.

I wouldnt mind trading, I've been breeding for a little bit now and I wouldnt mind trading.    I have been working with the starters from leaf/pearl/emerald and have a great chimchar that I like.   I would like differnt starters like you mentioned.  

at the moment  I cant think of the pokemon i specifically want besides a mew (i have 2 real mews in old game boy games and I just want my friend back).   But what I want, what I reall want are a scyther and scizor, politoad (HE can do some wicked combos), hmmm..  

anything you want besides the g/s starters?


I think i do have pidgey too, the swarm happend once for me.

I have a Mew, but the person that gave it to me caught it using an Action Replay, so I don't know if you'd like that. It hasn't (thankfully) messed up any of my game data. All the other monsters I own were caught and/or bred by me and are 100% legit.

I can get you Scyther, and if I ever come across another Metal Coat, I'll be more than happy to trade you one. I have one Poliwhirl and one King's Rock, so it's all yours if you do want it. Besides the G/S starters, I was hoping to get at least one of the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald starters and I did finally capture a Pidgey for myself so you don't have to worry about that one. There's a few others  that I wanted (besides the ones I've listed), but I can't think of them off the top of my head right now. I'll keep you in mind though! I just need to get the Wi-Fi connection running (properly) on this computer.

Great,   I am sure i have bred the starters from emerald..  let me check real quick.  o-k, it looks like my son snaged a few (he's 6) but I can always make more.    Lets see, Charmander, Squirtle, Turt, Chim, Marshstomp (can make an egg) and it looks like he grabbed the other ones.   and Bulb will be coming very soon (leaf grean training atm)

all are from my games, not traded via gts.  I have a bunch of pokemon, Oh, just found my houndoom, the charmanders get flare blitz as egg move, the chimchars get flamethrower, and uturn.   Great combo by the way..  I like my miltank, its a grat pokemon..  electrodes and so fourth.  

One thing I really want is a shiney charmander, but i think it may breed out eventually.   The mew you have, has there been any official release of him yet?  in fact, how do peopel get darkrai and things if you can find them for the dex?  

Some trades would be great and some battles too, i would love to test out my teams.. playing randoms on battle rev is anoying, but if you fought a Team Dred character, thats me!

As far as the Mew goes, I think it's hacked into the game using a cheat device and I haven't heard/read anything about a Mew event yet (like I said, the person that gave it to me used a cheat device). However, there was a Mew event for Emerald and you needed some Nintendo event item to get to it then. About Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus and them, people hack in the necessary event items to unlock the events to encounter them. Personally, I want to know how, if they aren't available through normal gameplay, how in the world does Nintendo get them to give out?

I'd love to battle too; I don't have Battle Revolution (nor do I have my Wii on hand) so let me know what you'd like to do.

One thing to note right now: I'm at college and the school that I attend gave me a MacBook Pro. I have yet to get the Wi-Fi Connection running on it, but am currently researching this in my spare time. I'll let you know what happens, but whenever I go home (and have access to a PC) I'll be sure to let you know if you ever want to do anything.

I just inished college not too long ago (grad in june).  If your laptop can get the internet, Nintendo (and other manf.) sell usb wifi adapters that would use the laptops hardline, then through the usb transmit a wireless signal for the ds/wii/whatever you have.   I think its around 30 dollars..  let me go and check.

Jim, just thought I'd update and let you know that I added your code. Also, I sort of got the connection working on my computer, but it randomly cut me off when I would browse through the GTS. It seemed fine in the Underground, so I don't know. I'd like to try it whenever you get the time. I'll PM you later.

Raichu: I'll be willing to part with the Mew only if Jim decides he doesn't want it. Like I said, it was caught with a cheat device so I don't know how much someone would really want one caught that way. Its stats and everything seem pretty legit (I received this Mew in a trade), but if it doesn't bother you, and only if Jim doesn't want it, it's all yours. I only have one and it's the only Legendary I'm willing to part with since I didn't catch it and it was caught with an AR anyway.

If Jim does want the Mew, tell me some other trades you'd like (barring Legendaries please) and I'll see what I can do. Guess I'll see what happens soon.
