There better be an equally cool female Fire Emblem playable character, Sakurai!

Yeah I am really torn. I wanted her playable, because there has never been enough female character in Brawl. And it looks like once again female characters are going to be absent. I knew when we saw her without the new challenger approaching she was assist, and I got disappointed.

However, at least we get to see her in the game...and that is a good thing.

The fact that Lyn isn't playable shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone. Eliwood and Hector were the only needed Lords in Blazing Sword since they're the fathers of Roy and Lilina and were both important to the storyline of Sword of Seals. Even in Blazing Sword Lyn wasn't that important to it's overall storyline since after the first 10 chapters the rest of the game is all about Eliwood and Hector anyway.

But seriously, she should have been playable, unless this means Titania will be playable, in which case I'll cry tears of joy.

On the plus side the FE series is rich in characters, many of them female. I'm sure they can pluck one of them and put her in the game.

This update proves further that the assist trophies are both a blessing and a curse; they help keep the riff raff away from the roster but drag really cool characters along with them.

Oh and along with Titania I want to see Mordecai and the other beast people. THEY ROCK!

I dont understand everyone here is talking about Fire Emblem characters, Fire Emblem is represented in the game. Its not like they showed some assist trophy from some obscure game and people are now talking about what possible characters could become of it. We have had officially now 3 Fire Emblem characters and its the assumption that 2 will be retiring leaving one new one Ike. Most people assume that there will be at least one more Fire Emblem character to join the battle and people are simply speculating.

But Lords make the most sense, so there's Eirika (Sacred Stones) and Micaiah (Lord for the first bit of Radiant Dawn)...Not much to choose from! =(

I still think Sothe is going to make it as a playable character since he's the star of FE10. Plus, it would be extremely awesome to play as a character who wields dual daggers, and would be (I would hope) almost as quick as Fox or Falco.

I didn't say I wasn't going to enjoy playing as Pit, Bill.

Pit's land AND air based. Sothe would be a primarily land, up-close, combo-type attacker. Extremely fun to play as. Not that Pit won't be fun to play as.. like I said.. I'm looking forward to it.
