Topic: Gamestop may be getting more Wii's

Friend of mine was told by gamestop yesterday that they will be getting somewhere in the ballpark of 100 Wii's this week. Just a heads up for anyone still looking to pick one up. Could be a large shipment coming over the next week, atleast here in Louisville Ky.

Might be bogus might not be, but can't hurt to call your local store and ask. Not that the people they have working know what they are talking about half the time. lol

100 is maybe too many for a single Gamestop, in my opinion. My local Best Buy got over 100 Wii consoles only once since launch and that was for launch. I wonder if Nintendo even has that many consoles for one store.

yeah, I figured it's a bit much too. Thats why I added the gamestop employee's not knowing what they are talking about half the time comment.

But still maybe they are getting a larger shipment they normal and the number was just inflated to 100 by the employee or my friend...either way it might be worth giving your local store a call if you want one or know a friend that wants one, since they are such a pain in the ass to get ahold of.

The majority of Gamestop employees I've encountered talk out of their asses sometimes.  Rarely do you encounter someone objective and "non-fanboyish".  Seriously, I'm expecting a Gamestop employee to tell me that the Nintendo Wiis were abducted by a freakin' alien race pretty soon.  

My apologies to Gamestop employees in this forum.  I only speak to those I've encountered.  If you're one of the rare ones...I salute you!?

Back on topic:  100 Wiis in 1 Gamestop = Talking out of their ass.  Next time...kick his ass and take his name.  I'll send the Gamestop corporate office a memo from Reggie Fils-a-what-you-call-it!
