Making the trip
« on: May 08, 2007, 11:10:02 PM »
I am making a first trip to stay with a lady in Latvia. I asked if she would like to bring her something from America. She said it was nice not to ask, and even worst for her to say, but I did get out of her she would like some American makeup. Since they do not sell cosmetics in the tool section at the local wal mart store, I really need some good advise on what to get her. Thanks

Oh man, these advice threads are getting more and more misdirected. Lets play a "Do you know your forum audience?" game and see who wins!

My advice, don't get her Budweiser. That beer is just terrible. What was the question again?

Seriously I want a Russian bride. Or a Latvian one, especially if it's Dr. Doom.

p.s. pretty hard to bring something from the U.S. when you're in India I bet

So how do these posts work? The bots establish a post count to fake being legit and then start offering viagra and ring tones?

Nah, this is more to do with that "phishing" craze. Someone throws an asinine concept into the interweb attached to a e-fishing rod, in the form of a dumb post and perhaps they fish out a sucker, or perhaps some cheap perfume. I'm not sure how it works, but there's definitely cabbage involved.

Get her black mascara, either lengthening or volumizing, better NOT water-resistant.
If she is natural blond - get her brown or/and black.
Simple brands you can get in most stores (like Osco Drug or Target for example) -
L'oreal - the one in a long tube with "white and black" together (you'll easily recognise it when see in the store),
or Maybelline both mascara and lip glosses (especially) are cool - you can get few glosses of different color to make sure they'll match your lady's taste... glosses are better than lipstick because colour is not so distinctive as with lipstick it's hard to guess at distance which color to choose. Check a local dating site like www.DURFOREIGNSPAMMINGSITEDUR.com and how some of these gorgeous Latvian and Russian women look , their makeup choices and this my help you decide.

Wait wait wait wait wait.

You're telling me that Latvians are not from Latveria?

Oh, I'm definitely sending her back when she gets here.  I can't believe she would lie to me, when we haven't even met face to face!

I laughed so hard that "ring tones" became intelliTXT.  That makes you one of them, ad bot.

Wow, I can really identify with you.  The only section in my Wal-mart is the tool section.  I think I saw you there one time.  I've had my share of those mail-order brides, but they keep dying.  They never come with instructions, so I suppose seeking out help on a video game forum on the internets is what I should have done when I had a question, too.  Oh, the things I wouldn't give to switch places with you, wyatt.

Classy.

I think this is some of the best advice I've seen yet. I still like S-U-P-E-R's suggestion in the other thread but this was good too. Well, I'm off for today so now everyone can talk behind my back.

Don't forget. Trivia tomorrow.

TYP likes it if you come and disturb the game and blurt out the answers to songs so feel free to crash the party. I hear it's a prize triva tomorrow also. The winner gets an unattached Russian Woman with a green card of their choice. They just have to pick out the one they want from a website. It has something to do with NWR'S new sponser. All I know is it's a lot better than the true ads.
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.
