Which do you like the least?

Heat......................Cold
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

This is the dumbest question ever.  Since it's a worldwide question my guess is it's the victim of a bad translation.

I need heat to cook my food, it helps me stay warm in the winter and it's used to melt metals and plastics which can then be formed into useful objects.  Heat is pretty nice.

On the other hand, cold can be used to keep food from going bad.  It also keeps me from sweating my ass off in the summer and I like that it can turn liquids into solids.  Cold is pretty nifty, too.

Arg.

This question is asking which you'd like the least to DIE by: heat... or cold?

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Dieing from extreme heat would be....ugg. hallucinations and sun burn. Much, much better to freeze to death. You'd go numb after a few minutes.
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon

If I could be bothered to grab my Silent Hill DVD off the shelf I'd take screengrabs of that police womaaaaAAAAN dying from the extreme heat. She doesn't get tossed in the fire itself, just suspended over it and her skin starts crisping up and her eyes melt and stuff it's family friendly fun.

But heat? Cold? I'd rather die from porridge that's juuuust right.

Is this direct exposure, or can we bring a protective suit of some kind? It's easier to guard against cold then heat.

Huh... I've always considered you could do what you could to stave off death. Dying in a botched edition to the North Pole, or having an extreme Fever in Death Valley?
