I want that...and I'd consider it but it's closing in 8 days and is already up to $510.

It'll probably finish for over $1,000.

An unmodified Wii goes for $300+ on eBay.  I need to get my arts and crafts skills going.  700 bucks for a shield and a bad paint job (seriously, the paint isn't even smooth).

It wasn't meant to be smooth, he used textured paint on top of, probably, vinyl dye.

The paint job is meant to have a rough "rock" texture look

I wana know where he got the Master sword and shild....they don't look too home made

Yeah, if you read the auction, they are ganked right from teh target soundtrack.  He even includes the CD with the auction.

I can't help but wonder if he tried to get a smooth point job but realized how hard it would be and went with a "texture" to hide the screw up.  Either way, it's still quite cool.

Zelda Sword and Shield

The right most picture looks exactly like it, but they are sold out.

Thats really cool and makes me want to mod my Wii.  (Though I would have prefered Green instead of Black)
Need a Personal NonCitizen-Magical-Elf-Boy-Child-Game-Abused-King-Kratos-Play-Thing Crimm Unmaker-of-Worlds-Hunter-Of-Boxes

The Wii CAN do normal mapping!

Well, for Zelda it should have been Gold..

Wow, that modded Wii looks pretty sweet!
But I agree with IceCold, Gold would have been better, even though the guy still did a good job.
