I think I read on Wikipedia that on March 10, Nintendo fans ought to play a game with Mario. You know, since "MAR10" looks like "MARIO", duh.

Since we don't have Super Paper Mario or Super Mario Galaxy or Mario Party 8 or Super Smash Bros. Brawl yet, obviously we're going to play another game, or maybe finish up one that we put aside. Or replay a game just for fun's sake.

I can't think of anything other than getting around to buying Super Mario World on the VC. That's always fun.

So what Mario game are you playing/replaying today?

Damn it, you started this thread 42 minutes too late for me to celebrate. March 10 was yesterday.

I will just keep this Mario Galaxy trailer on loop.

Weekends often include late night Mario Bros 3 or SMW playing, so there will be nothing out of the ordinary for me.

It's still MAR10 here for another 3 hours.
Now I was gonna play some Zelda TP but hmmm, maybe I should pop in some Super Mario Sunshine love?

Well, I finished Super Mario World on the VC not long after making the original post...of course, I did it the Star World way (

)...I'll make time to play all the areas at some point...

I might still try and get some mario time in today but I been busy uploading Sonic 2 and MKII videos for the new site so I might not have time. I guess I'll just spend a few minutes running around in NSMB on DS

MAR1O DAY!! WOOOOT!!

Right before Galaxy comes out, I'm planning on doing a Mario Marathon. Hopefully SMB2 and 3 (and Yoshi's Island) are out on the VC. Then I'll go through every console Mario platformer on one system before the "new" game for the system comes out - I'll pop my Cube disc in for Sunshine. If not, I'll do the same thing, except I'll have to use my S/NES.

Today, I'm going to watch more videos of Super Paper Mario, then drool over the Galaxy trailer again. I think I'll also try to finish the original SMB without warp pipes.

You know, I'm all for you buying third party games on Nintendo systems to expand your horizons, but when you overlook a game like that I take issue. Plus, the fact that you weren't (aren't?) interested in Mario Galaxy means that you have no business in this thread.

EDIT: I recall Smoke39 didn't "get" Galaxy either.. both of you deserve to be ban'd.

New Super Mario Bros is not a game you waited around for, it was a game you went hunting for on launch day. Go now and get it.
