Ubisoft's TMNT
« on: February 22, 2007, 07:42:55 PM »
If u haven't heard about it yet its running on the Prince of Persia Engine.  I just played the free demo and i have to say it works very well for the TMNT franchise only drawback is there is no multiplayer whatsoever.  Try out the demo by downloading it from fileplanet.com, if ur not a subscriber you'll probably have to wait like 25min like i did but its worth it i think.

The demo is a timed demo only though and its really only a tutorial, but u do get to feel how the game will be played.  After playing it I think I will be interested to get it on the Wii.

I don't know if Mr. U has heard of it but I only knew Ubisoft had the rights, not what they're doing with it.

I was wondering what kind of engine the game was running on. It's perfect for turtles, now we will finaly be able to do some real ninja things. After reading the comics, and watching the 2nd to newest cartoon, I've always wanted to play as them flying all over New York in a way that only they can.
Nintendo players and One Piece readers, just better people.

yeah it really works well, the only problem i have with it is sometimes the camera will give u a bad view and then u fall off the top of a building and die.

As far as classics are concerned, i think TMNT 2 for the nes was the most memorable, closely followed by turtles in time (TMNT 4)

They had best put some multi-player, it was the best part.

This one actually looks good, reminds me of TMNT 2 and TMNT 4.

I'm really excited for this game, considering the last TMNT game worth playing was TMNT4. The movie should be awesome as well, I'll be there opening night no doubt. Now we just need that new Ghostbusters game to materialize ...
