I just beat ZeldaOT for the first time in 4 years.  It is by far the best game i've ever played. Now onto Master Quest.  Hopefully, LOZ:WW will be just as incredible....9 days left!  (yes I realize it's 5:17am EST,  but i'm old and working leaves me with no time whatsoever to rip into my games collection.) yawn...

Well, at least we're getting the two disc set, THANK GOD!
And it's a pack in for a limited time, no need for pre-orders, I'm guessing. And that's even better!
Ocarina of Time.....to keep, for ALL time!

Yeah, at least were getting the bonus disk, i was so happy when Nintendo Australia put that on thier site. But still, its gonna be torture in 9 days when everyone else here has Wind Waker and we're sitting here twidling our thumbs, then us PAL gamers will be the only people left in the forums...

Yeah. See how IGN posted that thing of everything you could scan in Metroid Prime to get 100%? It's wasn't even Insider stuff!
I was soooo resisting the urge to look in it, print it, then stash it away so I can use when MP comes our way.

Yeah i no, when Metroid Prime came out in the US i downloaded about 20 diferent movies of it, its so hard not to download Zelda movies, but so far i havent downloaded any, or read much about it. I havent read any of the zelda reviews, but i no its number on Gamerankings. Only about two months to go, i dont think i can go any longer. Must. Fight. Urge.

*downloads every Zelda movie he can find, and reads every article ever written about it*

I have only got two Zelda movies. One's the WMV version of the E3 2002 Trailer. Still the best Zelda footage I've ever seen. The other is the footage of some rep playing the first boss, on the E3 2002 DVD from NextGen Videos.

I've got tons of pics tho. But not more than I have of F-Zero GC.

With Metroid, I've got six movies. The E3 2002 Trailer, the Metroid US commercial, and three direct feed gameplay movies. I never want to download too many game footage, cause that's what ruined Majora's Mask for me. I knew too much about it.

No spoilers from me.  I'm dead set against anything that'll ruin a game for anyone.   ....You guys down under are getting Metroid and the Wind waker in the same month?  WOW... how will you accomplish anything not game related?

Sorry for getting off topic but I have a question. Why do some people spell it Gannondorf instead of Ganondorf the way it is supposed to be spelled? I really don't understand this and it annoys me to no living end. The only time it has ever been spelled Gannon was in the in game intro for The Legend of Zelda. It was a mistake though because even in the manual for the game it was spelled Ganon and in every game and manual since then it has been spelled with only two Ns. It's very similar to how in the in game intro for Metroid Zebes was spelled Zebeth while in the manual it was spelled Zebes and has been spelled that way in every Metroid manual and game since then. You don't see people spelling Zebes "Zebeth" though do you? So why do people spell Ganon or Ganondorf with 3 Ns?

I guess we humans can't be as perfect as yourself....You know what annoys me?  People being so damn nit-picky about everything.  Gannon, as a last name is usually spelled GANNON.  It's just a habit.  Sorry, maybe I watch too much football. [oops, why do we call it football? We messed up again!]

Some people spell it Gannondorf (or Gannon) with 2 n's because in the original Legend of Zelda there was a translation problem that showed the spelling of Ganon having 2 n's. This was corrected in later Zelda games, but I guess the people who really got into LoZ just have a natural habit of spelling the names with 2 n's instead of one.

Well it's just that a lot of people spell it that way on purpose and then make arguments that that is how it has always been spelled. If it was a mistake then my post doesn't apply to you.

I realize that and did address it in my post. I don't really see it as a good excuse though seeing as how it was spelled with 3 Ns in a fairly obscure place (the in game intro) and was spelled with two Ns in the manual and in every game and manual since.

I've had people try to tell me that it was spelled Gannondorf in the A Link to the Past manual even though it wasn't. That's what gets on my nerves when people try to say that's how it's actually spelled. Again Omen if it was just a mistake and you don't actually believe that's how it's spelled I'm sorry.

Well, then you answered your own question, Gibdo- people spell it with 2 N's because it was spelled as such in LoZ and I guess it was just burned into their brains.

I pre-ordered the US Version of TWW + freeloader...I can't stand the wait...

If I had to wait longer, I would seriously consider repeatedly bashing my head against a brick wall until it comes.
