Topic: Nintendo DS Spectrobes

Has anyone here heard anything about the new nintendo ds game called Spectrobes? such as a release date etc i was looking at these youtube clips and now i want to know more about the game.

I've been enjoying the "webisodes" they've shown so far on GameTrailers.com, but part of me really thinks the game won't do so hot.  Okay, maybe it will.  It's voice-activated Pokémon by Disney, essentially.  So it will be a hit with the kids at least.

But I think I'll go with Pokémon Diamond and Pearl for all my monster raising/training/battling needs.

Anyway, Spectrobes' key cards are a neat idea. They look like stencils you place on the touch screen (I'm guessing they wouldn't actually touch the screen part) and you enter "codes" by touching the points with the stylus.  Smart way to integrate cards without an e-Reader or Barcode Battler-type peripheral.  I wouldn't mind seeing them used again.
