Oh damn it, we already knew Kororinpa and Wing Island were coming over, and DDR is completely dead. Dewy still rules though!

I'd really really love to see a Wii-exclusive Gradius game, even if it were VC-only.

It would also be great if the paid homage to their first Nintendo-released Gradius game "Life-Force" by developing the game's controls to use the Wiimote "NES-style", while adding in further controls through motion gestures to result in different game effects like using super weapons, rewinding, etc.

Can't wait!

Can we just get a Castlevania announcement already?  Honestly, it's almost becoming humorous the way Konami shuns Nintendo's consoles while selling loads of Castlevania games on the Nintendo handhelds.  It makes absolutely no sense.  They could...eh, should, just throw some 2d classics together for the Wii.

LOL

I doubt any 10 year old will even play Dewy, stop trolling. Me and my 20 year old friends will though, because it could be fun!

Castlevania isn't happening, some guy who makes it said the Wii was crap or something.

This is excellent news! Great find Pittbboi. DDR, Dewy, Kororinpa, and Wing Island are all games I want and will buy!! Good thing, I was about to import Koro and Wing Island. Considering the kind of support we got from Konami last gen this is very good news! And so early on too.
Currently Playing: Twilight Princess(Wii), Castlevania: PoR(DS), Mario vs. Donkey Kong2(DS), Wii sports(Wii)

I don't mind the support.  It's fine.  I do mind the selective b title crap.  Konami might as well put out those old Mickey Mouse garbage games they're known for.  There had better be a Castlevania announcement on Monday, or they're written off altogether as far as I'm concerned.

He said that your arm would become tired from whipping, so Castlevania isn't well suited to that control.  Obviously he hadn't given much thought to other uses.

4 player DDR with co-op mode is DAMN tempting...

Everything else is a rent.

That would be great.  But lets not give Konami too much credit for graciously allowing us to play 20 year old games, for a fee.  Sure, it's nice, but we're still paying for old games and they're making a profit on them-again.  Which takes absolutely no effort on their part.  No new major game announcements for Wii on Monday, and I'm done with Konami.

So have we established if those four games are all they were talking about?

I think some announcements are expected to be on Monday. They could have just blown the whole load on friday, but I doubt it. I'm still waiting for a Silent Hill game for Wii at the very least, but a dedicated DDR game is a good start.

Indeed...that would be the first SH game I'll play.

Here's hoping for a MGS or the next Castlevania being Wii-bound.

I am guessing its the new Castlevania (which includes Rondo and SOTN as unlockables) on the PSP.

I wish it was a 2D Castlevania for the Wii.

If this is it, then DDR is definitely the best news we've seen out of Konami for the Wii.

I think this is it for now. I will be surprised if something else is announced (and even then, it could be something for the DS, the 36o or the PS3).

And like SB said, DDR Wii is good enough for now.
