Obi hosts along with Windy and Karl as we continue to celebrate a full week of GameCube awesomeness.

Fix me in 45.

All hail the glory of the GameCube. Steven made me write that. GameCube was pretty cool though.

You might not have remembered, but it's on Odeo.

In celebration of GameCube week here at Nintendo World Report, this week's episode is all mostly about the GameCube. We still run through the motions and bring you the latest news, listener mail, and such, but the meat of this week's episode is just us blabbering on about how many great freakin' games there were on the GameCube.

There's also mention of a couple of swank OS X Dashboard widgets for all you Mac listeners out there. You can find them right here.

Few things:

Mario Sunshine's commercial was an obvious parody of those old clean the environment commercials. I can't believe people miss this. And as such it was hilarious.

Second, the guy's friend who is pissed off at MGS:TS for Snake's missile jumping acrobatics, is obviously not a hardcore MGS fan since stuff in MGS2 and 3 make that look pedestrian.

Third, those who love Killer 7 are better than everyone else.

Fourth, I liked BG&E but it was not a great game. Good at best. The story was far more bland than what was promised us, the controls were clunky, the camera was not good at all, and it just felt rushed.

And the stealth sections were annoying as hell.

Beyond Good & Evil has that certain "Je ne sais quoi" (Get it? French developer.... never mind) that Zelda games also possess. The cohesive overworld, the great art direction, the likable characters, it all makes for a great game.

BTW, I liked how this podcast tied into the sites articles and other mailbag.

P.S.: Red Lobster is a new sponsor??

The RSS Feeds is a different channel to begin with.  A generic RSS channel would limit the new exciting Channels.  Plus that would not be nearly as polished as either of the other channels.

The forecast channel only update at the source twice a day.  That can be verifiable.

I like Zelda 2.  I can't wait to get it on the VC so I can actually beat it.

There order is correct

I liked Smash Brother but it never had that sort of hold on me.  I haven't even unlock most of it still.

Gamecube was the most locked down.  I loved PSO.  I can't believe my copy got lost.  I think I have more time on that then any game... (Weird considering I did that within 2 or so months)

Wavebird is awesome.  Finally Wireless done extremely extremely well.  I did the same but through Cinderblock walls.  At TTU where the buildings eat wireless signal.

I finally got Eternal Darkness and then lost it in the move so I still haven't played it.

I loved Crystal Chronicle because I didn't have friends to play it with.  I played all single player.  The game would have been much much better if they just continued the little story at the beginning of the places because you have to go back to them.

I wish I could find my Cube games.  I can't find a lot of them there in the storage unit.

Zelda games I agree that the last 2 were sort of easy.  Though to me they also feel sparse.  Don't get me wrong there is a lot of stuff in there but how it was arranged made it feel sparse to me.  Static if you will.

Finding Cubivore.

Personally, I don't think that Viewtiful Joe and Res 4 should have made it because they weren't truly exclusive.  Good but not exclusive.  PN03 was to ambitious for the technology.  I think it could have been done better now.

I want to play Luigi Mansion but never got around to it.

Sands of Time was good and I didn't like really any of the previous in the long running series.

Rage... Rage...

Honestly I thought there would be more Gamecube articles.  Not just the big one.  I'm a little disappointed so far.

Gold Strippers.

Yay Widgets.

I really enjoyed this podcast.  I was skiing during the recording on Sunday, and I was too busy the past few days to ask how it went, so the whole thing was a surprise for me.  Both of Stan's commercials are hilarious.

Ceric, make sure you check out the "GameCube's Lost Gems" feature we did last year.  Some of the games overlap with GGG, but there are a lot of other ones that don't.
