OT: What do you guys do for a living?

I know it's a bit off topic - but I'm just interested.

The people that post here seem fairly knowledgeable, and seem to have a fairly in-depth grasp of the games industry.
I was just wondering if any of you work for games companies, as I do myself - and if so, what role you have there.

Yes.

Also, I work in the cable television industry for a company which brokers advertising space on all of the major US cable systems and sells it to national advertisers at discounted rates.

I don't have any videogame/computer related work.

Well, I guess I'm a webmaster for a university site; but that, I think, is unrelated and is more likely why I can post so much here rather than why I post here.

Part-time No Frills produce clerk, off of any school for now, which means I have alot of free-time.

I think we've been following the games industry, even if we aren't in it, because of our passion for our hobby/addiction. Wouldn't that explain our knowledge, I mean it's not like all of us here are complete geeks or nerds.

Well I currently working on my first commercial (I hope) game, I'm a Game Programming and Development major at Westwood. To get money now I'm a Shift Manager at a McDonald's. (I hope to get out of that soon...)
