Back in the NES days, my game selection wasn't as Nintendo-centric as it has been since the Super NES and onwards. Blaster Master is among the NES games I have, and it rocks.
(Its four sequels suck...forget Blaster Master Boy, Blaster Master 2 is pure garbage, Enemy Down Below just seemed like a GBC adaptation of the NES game but seemed weak and I don't know much about Blasting Again on the PSX but it can't be that good if I never heard about it 'til recently.)
I even have the Worlds Of Power book (which isn't canon, or wasn't, until Blasting Again, apparently).
But man, that game was hard. It took like a year to beat after getting it.
If you don't know what this game is, you might want to give it a try. How would you describe it? It's like a vehicular retraversal game. You know, like 2D Metroid/recent 2D CastleVania but with a vehicle. There are maps of four of the worlds made by my brother
here.
