Finding a DS
« on: December 31, 2006, 05:20:59 PM »
anyone know how long it will be before stores will have DS's in stock. I have been to 7 different stores of 4 different chains in the last week, and I can't find one bloody unit. I finally got the money, now I can't find one.

Good luck.

We got six in Tuesday.  They were gone by Thursday.

OH GOD IT'S LIKE WE'VE MOVED TO JAPAN!

I can sympathise.  A friend of mine lost his in an ugly break-up because she took it with her.  I have been keeping an eye out for him.  All we've found was one pink DS Lite.  He was not receptive to the idea of using a pink one.

Yeah, I had to wait until I got some extra christmas cash to buy it. I went to Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, and Compusa yesterday. None of them had any in stock, or virtually any console for that matter. Best Buy and CompUSA had some 360's, and BB had two PS3's, but that was about it. Shame too, i would have plopped down a nice sum of money had they had a black DSL in stock

When I bought mine on Dec 26 I got it from Superstore. It's basically a giant supermarket with an electronics dept here in Canada.  They had 7 left. 1 white and 6 <choke> pink.  I'm really glad they had the one white unit left!

Someone should buy the pink one.  I'll trade you for the white one I have.

Gamestop in Alabama said maybe end of January.  I found mine at ecost.com, but looks like they are sold out now.
