Surprised no one has made mention of this...

It's a wonderful world is a Square RPG for the DS. It is being done by the same team that did the Kingdom Hearts series (complete with Tetsuya Nomura doing the designs).

The story sounds interesting. It reminds me of the "play the game for your life" elements of movies like Saw (minus the blood and gore). The battle engine sounds confusing as hell. Hopefully it becomes easier to understand once you get into it.

There is a fear that because the game takes place in Shibuya and dives into Japanese pop culture it might not be released in the US. Hopefully they can change the setting. The story's universal enough, they can change it from Japan to the US (and have it take place in either New York or LA).

I saw the official site a while back, and was also surprised that no one has talked about it. I couldn't navigate my way around, though, so I gave up..

I'm not sure what was going on in that trialer(the battle scenes look very intense), but I definately want to know more. It seems like a very action heavy battle engine, and the presentation of the exploration parts look very interesting. Someone should keep us up to date with that game.

Because men rarely try to look like the people in the media and don't get an inferiority complex when they see a videogame character that looks better than them? And hell, who'd want to look like a FF main char?
