FAKE.

EDIT:  Forgot where I was.  I heard you need to purchase a second DSL in order to play the second cartridge.  Square-Enix programmed it so the two can't be played on the same system.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

well a multi cart ds game is completely possible, just swap the game card when told to and you data is then saved to a slot on card 2 and game picks up from there =D

I don't see anything as a problem with it, other than the game won't be out until eand of 2007 so FAKE FAKE FAKE. lol

Each card contains 70 hours of gameplay.

I'm sure touch screen input will make entering the 680 character password much easier.

Entire game is touch screen controlled and in real time.  Also: locks the DS Clock so you cant change the time.

Ha, I got goosebumps thinking about a huge DS game with two carts.

I don't think it's actually possible for a two cart game to work with the present hardware - Nintendo just didn't set the system up to allow it. Technical feasability is one thing, but Nintendo's firmware is another.

I don't think the firmware would support it, but if there is any franchise they would be willing to do a firmware update for this would be in.

I would imagine even if the DS is a desirable platform Nintendo would still be wary of spooking SquareEnix.  If they desired it, and it is possible, Nintendo would find a way to put a firmware update on the cart.

All four players have to exchange friends codes with each other.

(Uh-oh, that may actually be true. )

See, now I know there are infinite ways to cause Internet uproar.

I figured we were done with that after the Wii got a name.

Yes, it's actually feasible to hot swap DS games... because that's how the DS Action Replay works.  When you boot the DS up with the AR in, it automatically prompts you to remove the DS and insert a game cart.

Personally, I like the idea of two-cart DS cases.  With some special covers, this could save some space on my DS shelf...

Whoops.  It prompts you to remove the AR, of course...
