Again, interesting. The photos in Ceric's article makes me soooo glad I camped out when on launch week. It was nice and warm - by Calgary standards. Still waiting for more reports. It'll take multiple reports to confirm that this is happening in more than isolated areas.
I liked that article, but I disagree with his conclusion:

1. The market has only been growing the past couple of years thanks to DS. Without it there would have been little or no growth in North America, and shrinking in Japan.
2. There is not room for three consoles. Microsoft has lost $5 billion and just as it's starting to look like MS will make a profit, Sony is starting to bleed money. Maybe if all three companies were as financially conservative as Nintendo there'd be room for three consoles, but basically it's two guys purchasing each others' marketshare and Nintendo making a profit on the side.
