What I can do since I kept my GameCube!
« on: December 10, 2006, 02:59:49 PM »
Just for kicks, I put my Game Boy Player disc into my GameCube and had my GameCube monitor hooked up into it.  Booted the GameCubeBoy up without a cart in it, but with a GBA/GCN Cable going to my Wii - in the Fourth Player Port.

Next, I booted up my Wii.  In both the Wii and the GameCube, each First Player Port contained a wicked cool Hori Digital Controller (a.k.a. Game Boy Player Controller).  Since my wife was watching some show about Giant Squid (?), I had to run my Wii through my PS1 monitor.  And into my Wii went Pac Man Vs.!

And I played a game of Pac Man Vs. all by myself (since my wife was really into the Giant Squid show), on two little screens.

It's almost like I have my second Game Cube I've always wanted.  When I finally manage to get around to finishing TP, I'll have to play through Wind Waker again on Wii, using the GCN/GBP/Monitor combo as my Tingle Tuner.

I can take pictures, as I have of various things before... but be warned, they'll be with my super-crappy camera phone.

dude, that giant squid show was really cool.  And the one about ocean life done using CG graphics was even better.

Uncle Bob, any word on Wii + Walmart?  I have no Wii

And also, do the GBA games look all pixalated and jagged on the big screen, or more like SNES?

Here's you a pic, folks... Again, sorry it's crappy.

It's almost as cool, but not quite as cool as when I did this:

Original Game Boy Tetris in the Game Boy Player in the GameCube on the GameCube Monitor.
Original Game Boy Tetris in the Super Game Boy 2 in the Game Genie in the Super Nintendo on the Television.
And the two are linked together in a two player match.  (As with the Pac-Man vs., though, I was playing by myself...  I need a friend...)

I got my new phone today, and thus I can take better quailty pictures.

Unfortunatly, until I purchase either a data cable or a micro SD card + adapter, I can only transfer 1 MP pictures to my computer via Picture Message.  Once I get the data cable or card, I'll have 2 MP pictures.

Either way, I can't directly post the picture on the forums, but here's a new photo I took of Pac-Man vs.
