For god sakes, first we argue about there being blood in the game, now we argue about little black particles being in the game. I...I... this is ridiculous. The creator made a stylistic choice... and I, for one, happen to love how everyone turns into awesome little soot particulate that disintegrate in front of your eyes in this game!

... aaaaaand, it appears that the creator made a stylistic choice for the Japanese audience specifically. The American and European versions will have fountains of blood.
