I believe he was referring to the trend to launch a retro predecessor to an upcoming game such as launching Link to the past right before Twilight Princess, Mario 3 with Galaxy and Super Metroid with Prime 3.

Yes, and Crimm was pointing out that Twilight Princess was released long before Link to the Past came to the VC.

You may have been thinking of Metroid and Super Metroid making up the Month of Metroid leading up to Metroid Prime 3. Metroid.

This Mondays games are Adventures of Lolo 2 and Super Street Fighter 2:The New Challengers, up at gonintendo.com. Also I'm a little ticked of that they released Super Street Fighter 2, recently got Street fighter 2 turbo oh well.

It's so lame that they've slowed to 2 per week. They're not going to run out of games, are they?

I'm sure nintendo won't run out of good games to put on the VC. In the mean time if you don't like the games or if you already downloaded the “good games” try something new.

Actually, I've never played a 1080 game...

It's just that I grew up on the Lolo games and that I have fond memories of watching my mother and father working hard to beat the first game. Additionally, the puzzles in Lolo are so very very simple in mechanics, but are so very very delightful to solve. These are the best block pushing puzzles you will EVER see in your entire life. <--- possible hyperbole, but who cares? I LOVE LOLO!

Thanks Maxi!

Yeah, Lolo is a great puzzle game, and thanks to the Wii VC save feature, very easy to pick up and play a little bit at a time. But don't take my word for it, here's some youtube video previewing snippets of the first cpuple of levels!

And my opinion about Solomon's Castle is that it's a pretty hardcore action-puzzle game. It feels a lot like one of those old NES games that would be very unforgiving and require some hardcore dedication to figure out... so thank god there's some sort of infinite continue cheat to use in it. I forgot what that was though...

Oh, and Maxi, what makes you think that 1080 snowboarding sis coming soon? I'll pick that game up for sure, it's so well regarded that I really ought to see what the big deal is.

Kairon and I agree on something here.  Lolo's puzzles are probably the greatest video game puzzles out there.

Kairon, your praise of the game was what got me to buy the first Lolo when it came out. We seem to have similar tastes in games and you've downloaded as many VC games as I have (over 50), and in this case I have to thank you, I love it and once I beat the first I'll definitely grab the second. Now I've got to pick up Zack & Wiki and Phoenix Wright...

I found the continue code on the Game Deviation Value screen hold up and a and b. As to how I know the games every week I know a person who has a source. He has been right since I have been posting here.

I'd hit that.

Also, Quest 64.

The second one is too much better than the first. I don't think my nostalgia is strong enough for the first one.

N64 games are big and Nintendo's server can't handle the bandwidth required to release another new game at the same time.  Same reason we only got Ocarina of Time one week.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

1080 is the only N64 game to come out in a week with no other games, at least in North America. Most of the others came out alongside 2 other games.
