And what the heck is this one?!
* Forever Blue

Well I made a topic a couple months ago about it, it is basically a scuba diving game where you explore the ocean either by yourself or with other people online. It has potential to be a really relaxing and interesting game if done right.

Anyone think that we'll actually get a new 3D Side scrolling mario for the Wii?  I'm one of the few who dosn't think the 3D Mario games have been as interesting as the 2D versions, despite still being fun games.

I doubt Wii will get any 2D mario games.I think that will be left for the DS.But Mario Galaxy does look really interesting and fun.

Super Paper Mario is a 2D Mario game.  Way to be informed, kids.

I'm hoping that 2007 brings out the major franchises and 2008 brings out the major original titles.  Nintendo needs new characters, finally, methinks.

he said 3(three) D Side Scrolling not 2d so way to read a post people.

I still am hoping Super Paper Mario turns out good cuz (and I am prepared to take the heat for this) thousand year door was a huge disapointment for me.

Besides that Metroid and Smash Bros is the only Nintendo games uinteresting me so far, maybe disaster but ill haev to learn more about it.

Right now all I am waiting for is payday so I can get COD3 and then I am gonna be waiting impatiently for MK Armageddon to arrive.

not much else has intereste dme so far. COD3 would have been better if it was online but I heard Wii wasnt doing online games yet.

IceCold: I've been wondering the same thing.  Also, I hope we're still getting Wii motorsports...I want airplanes!

I think Nintendo will release Metroid, Mario and Super Smash Bros. next year if it can get them finished.  The thing to keep in mind is that capturing customers early on to build up momentum is important to a healthy system.  If you can get a big customer base, third parties start filling in the release schedule for you.  Look at GBA, it still gets as many games as GameCube even though DS has been on the market for two years.

I'm a bit worried about the tiny lineup for first quarter 2007.  I hope Nintendo or third parties have more planned or else Wii may suffer from the same "no games" reputation as GameCube and N64.  The overall lineup for 2007 looks good, but if all the big games come out between August and December, that's not so good.
That's my opinion, not yours.

It'll probably be released around then, but personally, I don't care.

Let them take as long as they need to get it finished and polished.

Metroid 3 is the only one im eagerly awaiting. I dont mind how long they postpone it, as long as it is for improvement reasons. If i have to wait longer for a better, prettier game, so be it. That said, a gamespot employee(a respectable one) stated that MP3 is to be released in june of 07, according to nintendo. Take that for what its worth.

I'd rather have solid dates than all this random speculation.
