Wii cases...
« on: November 19, 2006, 06:08:29 AM »
You can get empty White cases for Wii Games from Nintendo now.  I ordered some over the phone (and Nintendo customer service rocks, as always.... don't want to brag on why because I don't want everyone else begging them for "deals" saying that they did it for someone else, etc., etc...)  I forget the exact prices, but you can order them single, in fives or in tens (limit of 50!).  I ordered five and it was about $12 with shipping.

Also thecoverproject.net has a Wii Sports cover up for all your printing needs.

I assume these can probably be ordered from thir online store, but their website is so bonked (in fact, it's taken me all morning to actually get through on their phone lines... I hope this isn't a bad sign...)

Ah, so this is primarily for Wii sports, yes?

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Why else would you need them?

If you ever buy a used, disc only game, if you need a case replaced because one is damanged or if something like the Wii Play bundle has the game disc packaged in cardboard as well.  I've ordered a few GCN cases and they're handy to have around.  I used a spare two-disc case for Metroid Prime 2 and the bonus disc that Nintendo sent out some time ago.  Another spare two disc case went to my Action Replay discs (I have 2).  I put Four Swords Adventures and my Imported copy for FS+ in another case to save some room.  Who knows what you might need them for...

The Wii Play and Remote bundle is coming to the USA in January; I have no idea if Wii Play will come in a regular case or in a cardboard sleeve.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
