Not even the Socket Error can hold back the might of Shift Key and his bumptastic rampage.

EDIT:  I kid you not, but I got a forum error when I posted this.  Then I went back and tried to post it again.  But the magic of the one post per minute rule stopped me from making a double post.

Hello everyone! I have joined up with the PGC forums in the hopes of making some friends to play Metroid Prime Hunters with! It seems like a great game, but its awfuly hard to tell when I am constantly getting error messages instead of playing the game. I have spent an hour and 46 minutes (according to my record) and only played 2 games! And both were one on one... Well, now a little about who I am.

I have been playing video games since I was about 9, and I am now erm...older. I am currently married to a wonderful Japanese girl who DEMANDS we go to Japan once a year, so I have some ability with the language and culture, but more importantly, access to the games over there!
I am a pretty even tempered guy, so dont expect lots of s**t talking and yelling after a match. Once I get to know some of you though, I may engage in juuust a smidgen of smack talking, though.

I am currently really busy finishing up school, advancing in my Japanese language and advanced modeling/animating classes so I dont play a whole lot of games. I play Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart DS and World Of Warcraft whenever I can. I am old school, berating the youngsters who play Soul Caliber 2 while throwing some Capcom VS. SNK 2 into the machine to show em how a "real" game is played.
I have never been super big on FPS's, but being able to take one with me, playing whenever I feel like it and NOT NEEDING TO PAY A YEARLY SERVICE FOR ONLINE MATCHES has really gotten me into MPH ( *looks at Halo2* ).

Like everyone else here, I am really looking forward to the Revolution, but quite possibly for different reasons. You see, with this next generation of systems, I really was losing interest in console video games. Seeing first hand the road the Xbox360 is taking, and listening to Sony's stance, I assumed that Nintendo would essentially follow suit, just with Nintendo games. At that point I was thinking, well, when the system is dying down, I might pick one up for cheap so I can play the new Zelda, Mario and Metroid I missed. Then that new controller was revealed and suddenly, my interest in home console games has been rekindled. Dont get me wrong, I'm not running out to EB (or wherever) and scooping up and Xbox360 to get Oblivion and Call of Duty 14, but I am quite sure I will be picking up a next gen system formerly known as Revolution.

Well, thats me folks! Sorry for the long post, but this is an intro, so I though it appropriate. I wont be posting to often, but when I do you can expect them to look something like this one.
Do, or do not. There is no try.

Is Uruguay the land-locked country or is that Paruguay? I get them confused. Which is the one that steals cars from Brazil?

Wow.  I had to learn a bit of South American geography in high school Spanish classes, and this thread just made me realize that I forgot a lot more than just Spanish.  We had to learn an annoying song of all the countries and capitals, and the only ones I can remember are Caracas, Venezuela (it was the first line of the song, repeated twice every verse, with each verse only adding one more country), Bogotá, Colombia (the second line), and Montevideo, Uruguay (which was just fun to say).  Having just looked at a map, I am sad to say that I was completely wrong about the locations of both Paraguay and Uruguay.  I'm just glad Jay Leno isn't here.

I do know a couple more capitals, but I don't remember them from that song, or at least I don't remember how they fit into it.

There *is* an edit function, you know...

And I have a few words of wisdom for you...

First, read the rules so you know what to do and what not to do here (Example: no polls, etc...).
Second, try to spread out your topics...No one likes to be flooded in new topics...

Well, that's my two cents...Enjoy your stay, however long you are here!

You can say bad things about Bloodworth....just watch what you say about stevey. He may seem nice, but he's the strictest mod on the forums. He'll ban somebody for saying hello to him one day, then ban somebody for not saying hello to him the next.
