So you're not the girl from the Spiderman movies?  That's a shame.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Well, I guess if there's a check-in thread, I should have checked in.  Hi there.  I've been lurking for a long time, and finally decided to create an account so that I'll have a harder time holding my tongue when I get the urge to call someone an idiot.  Not that I plan on calling anyone an idiot.  You are all wonderful, nonidiotic people, I am sure.

Whatever you do, don't call me an idiot.

I prefer "fool", or possibly even "dumbass".

Duly noted.

But seriously, I'm usually pretty good at waiting until I cool down before posting anything.  I hope my lame attempt at humor didn't come across as brusque, or idiotic.

BANN'D!

No, seriously, most of us are smart enough to know a joke when we read one.  Welcome to the forums.  Get yourself an avatar of a bear wearing a party hat.

So... are you the new Care Bear I keep hearing about? The one in rehab?

I've already found a picture of a bear that would work if I could add a party hat and maybe a wine glass or something.  Don't expect it to ever show up, though, given my lack of photoshop skill combined with extreme laziness.

And no, I'm not affiliated with the Care Bears in any way, although I have a vague memory of seeing them in a movie when I was very young.
