Justice and Phoenix Wright
« on: November 08, 2006, 07:12:15 AM »
So, I've recently got into a lawyer show on NBC called Justice, and watching this show made me think of the hightly touted Phoenix Wright. I walk into Circuit City yesterday and they happen to have 2 copies of the game so I purchase it. I play the warm up case in the beginning and it reminds me of the show Justice, what a coincedence.

Anyway, so I was playing the game at work and my boss started showing some interest(he recently bought a PSP to take on a trip to Spain), so I let him try out the first case. Another co-worker was watching over his shoulder and after about 10 minutes of watching him play that co-worker decided that he was going to buy a copy of the game for himself(even though he didn't own a DS yet<his roommate did>).

Now to make a long story short, I talked that co-worker into buy a DS to go with his new game, and then talked my boss into purchasing one for himself for Christmas. Now considering that my boss will buy his DS, that would make me responsible for 4 people buying a DS Lite in the last 6 weeks.

p.s. I was really sceptical as to whether I would actually like this game, but so far I am really into it. And it the type of game I can play for seconds at a time while working.

Wow you found a copy for sale...
It's a great game but if your type of person who only watches a Movie once or maybe again 15 years later it doesn't hold much replay.

There's little replay value to it, but man it's fun the first time around.

I'm having way too much fun with it and so is the co-worker that I got to buy it the other day.
There are actually a few more copies for sale at my local Circuit City but I plan to convincing other people pick them up ASAP.

p.s. Is Trauma Center to Medical what Phoenix Wright is to Law?

Little replay value?  I play through the cases all the time!  Maybe I'm just weird like that...

Not at all.  Trama Center is a very difficult game.  It doesn't have the relaxed pace that Phoenix Wright has.  I think the game would be impossible to play while holding the system in your hands (you pretty much have to put it on a table).  It's all about reflexes and knowing which tool to use when.  It was a fun game for a while, but it quickly got way too frustrating.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
