"Super Metroid (Super NES; rated E for Everyone)"
It just seems so odd to see Super Metroid with an ESRB rating. Hell it's just weird that such a classic Nintendo game managed to not get re-released in any way for so long. Good to see it get an E. Sometimes non-cartoony graphics confuse the ESRB people into thinking a game isn't appropriate for kids. Metroid Prime is rated T and I see no reason why that game isn't appropriate for everyone. It just isn't a cartoon so it gets a T. Remember when every game was considering acceptable for kids even if it had Hitler's head exploding in a gooey mess? And isn't it annoying that this whole ESRB stuff was started by Night Trap and Mortal Kombat, two games that no sane person would ever find fun today?
And to be a stickler the game is called SUPER Mario RPG. I assume that's IGN's typo and the game isn't getting renamed. I hope they release it in Europe because everyone deserves to enjoy this classic. I have a feeling the VC games that have until now only been available on their native system are going to sell HUGE while widely ported stuff like Ice Climber is going to have weaker sales. Super Metroid will probably outsell everything, at least in North America.
