It's not a joke. I really did go to the new site, click on a Talkback link in a news article, navigate over to this forum section, and post. Everything is now synched up between the two versions, including the forums.

I don't understand the confusion. The forums will stay exactly the same for now, other than perhaps some tweaking of the color scheme. And my post would look the same to you anyway because you are still on the old site.

The database (SQL) was considerably upgraded back in the spring. This has been a phased relaunch all along. The third and final phase will be almost purely cosmetic...but as Borat would say, "Very niiiice!"
