UncleBob! I have your Zelda OOT!?!?
« on: November 02, 2006, 08:20:19 PM »
In preparation for TP, I've decided to play through as much of the Zelda series as I can.  Well, I've recently borrowed a friend's N64 copy of OoT.  I booted the game up, went to the file selection screen, and what name do I see? UncleBob.

Maybe it is the name of the UncleBob from this forum, or there's somebody else out there by the same name.  I was just wondering if it was the former, or the latter.  The file has all the hearts found, and is at the end of the game.  I will take a snapshot of the screen if you want.

I just found it amusing, so I'm posting this to see what's up.

It's not mine... that's weird though.

I did pull mine out and double check that it was mine (I'm not sure why it wouldn't have been anyway...)

There are two names on my OoT cart - Bob and Cheat.  (Cheat was the file that I played around with my GameShark on).

That's great though.

I did notice something I never knew before though!  Apparently, you have to have the N64 controller plugged in before turning the system on.  It didn't recognize a controller after I plugged it in.  Weird.
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.
