I'm talking about racers. I know about Excite Truck, but i'm talking about realistic ones, ones that require use of the brake. The last good realistic racer on a Nintendo system I can even remember is F1 World Grand Prix back on N64, which wasn't even all that good.
Unfortunately GC had absolutely nothing, which is a shame because it has the perfect controller for comfortable smooth driving, while playing racing games on PS2 I keep wishing they were on the GC instead because I hate the dual shock. If Nintendo wants to be market leader this issue has to be addressed, I want any kind of realistic driving game, a Moto GP game, an F1 game (actually I blame Sony for buying exclusively the F1 license), something like GT, it doesn't have to have brand name cars, just anything to drive with no stupid powerslide drifting or boosts.
Xbox has PGR / Forza / Moto GP etc. Sony have pretty much every kind of racer under the sun, Nintendo have nothing at all. Is this going to change or will people like me end up buying a 360 or PS3 as well?
If a third party makes a good realistic racer for Wii, it will basically have no competition at all and could sell very well.
