I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo does what it takes to extend this agreement depending on the reaction to the browser, but that's still great news for us launch day nuts.
That's my opinion, not yours.

Great news! I think it was Bloodworth who said that it would be free after June, so I'm glad this is true instead..

This is great news...and I think it gives early adopters even more value for their $250.00 investment.

I kinda hope it is only limited time, so that later when a price cut is announced, I won't feel as bad with my early purchase.

And It will be nice if I can watch videos and such on my TV.
I am curious if WinAMP or somebody will make a version of its player compatiable with the Wii...then I can watch MST3K online with friends instead of just the office.

Me too, I want to be able to watch all the porn I've downloaded from the comfort of my couch.

Nintendo isn't family frendly any more!
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

Am I the only one who utilizes the (admittedly subpar) S-Video out feature of his/her computer? I guess this'd be a better way to surf the internet on my bed though...

I use that too but it has a few problems.  One is that I can't put the computer next to the main tv because it is just too big as well as too ugly to fit there.  The biggest problem is that using my wireless mouse is a huge pain when I don't have a desk in front of me to set it on.  I see the remote to be a superior tv web browsing device because of this.  The lack of the keyboard on the Wii probably means I will rarely use this feature though.

Well, it's likely that Nintendo will allow a USB port to be used for a keyboard..

One can only assume the Opera browser will be more satisfying than, for instance, the Sega Dreamcast Web Browser. I have to admit, back when I was a poor college student who couldn't afford computer parts when something broke I did get stuck using my Dreamcast as my primary home source of internet access for short periods of time. But it wasn't pretty, and while you can streamline the browser somewhat, there's only so much you can really do with the low definition TVs that the Wii are going to support.

Which leaves me wondering: how many people with a wireless router in their homes are going to want their internet experience to come on a big screen with a low resolution?
