MattVDB - Alright, you got Captain Falcon I guess. There was some talk of Infernal having that but Infernal never claimed the captain. If this is a problem, let me know. As for an avatar, Vudu made one already. You may want to contact him. Or alternatively, Vudu could send me the avatar to host and then I could give you a captain avatar.

BigJim - Again. Thanks for trying it out. I was a newbie too in my first game and didn't quite know what all was happening but I ended up winning it. You figure it out pretty quick.

My good friend Khush convinced me to join this game via a very kind, intimate personal message that I could not reject. So here I am. And I would like to be Jack Levin.

Let it be noted two things:

Thing the first, I read some of the rules, but not all of them. I am experienced at real-life, simple Mafia, and this is so overwhelmingly complex that I am attracted to it with a bizarre masochistic lust.

Thing the second, PGC doesn't even have 30 READERS, let alone posters in the forums. So let's cut the crap about no dupes, okay? Like, two of my dupes are already signed up, and they didn't even tell me.

Nah, duplicates of existing racers with a slightly different color scheme will do fine.

Alright! The current number of players is 32 at the moment. This means it is the biggest mafia ever. Bill's mafia had the record at 30. So, we are celebrating the 10th edition with a bang. Most of the people who have played mafia at one time or another were able to join up. We even have a bunch of new people, so this is great.

Second. I posted somewhere that if we got 31 people a new role would be unlocked. Well here it is: A second mafia has been added. I know, it's nothing special. The second mafia has the exact same make-up as the mafia roles listed already. To designate between them, one mafia will be called the Legends mafia and the other the MaxVelocity mafia.

Third. I will ask two seperate mods to verify the Nyladrin account and make sure it is not someone else already playing. Otherwise, I just Nyladrin to choose a racer.

Fourth. Welcome aboard Svevan! or Evan! Not sure which you prefer. Not sure if that message comment is a joke or something appreciated but keep it down about the dupe accounts. I don't want people to find out I have a bunch already signed up for the game. This is going to be great. I'll control a whole mafia. I may have said too much already.

Fifth. We will be doing 24 hour voting. I'll start each day around midnight eastern or a bit after. I'll stop the game maybe an hour before then, so that anyone who has to change their night actions because of the day's events has a chance to do so. I will announce each day when voting ends.

Sixth, and finally. I'm not too worried about running out of racers. There are 40 racers to choose from. We have 32 people signed up and I don't think 9 more are going to suddenly sign up before the deadline. Though, I'd be happy to be proven wrong. But I doubt it will happen. Jonnyboy wrote me and said he couldn't play, so that should keep the excitement down.

If you're adding a second mafia you might want to rebalance so the townies have a fighting chance. One really powerful mafia wasn't that bad because the townies outnumbered them 5:1. If there's a second one, I don't think the townies stand a chance with their current lineup.

Also, are there going to be two corrupt townies (one for each mafia)?

Well, I thought it was balanced. Let's say the corrupted townies are orginally just townies. That means there would be 21 roles out there. That leaves 11 townies. Although, there are about 7 roles that benefit the townies. The townie idiot has the potential to harm. That means 18 townies to 12 mafia. While that may seemclose, keep in mind the mole situation. This person is working for the townies by rooting out the mafia. And both mafia's will have one. Plus, for one mafia to win, the other must be defeated. So there is going to be crossfire between them also. That's why I waited so long and for enough people to join before adding the second mafia. To make sure there was still a gap between them. Maybe, we'll see one or two other people join the game yet. This will add to townie numbers. Knowsnothing has mentioned joining up, so I'm waiting for a response from him. Maybe Kairon will decide to join since a bunch of new people who have never played before are trying it out. Tell me the difficulties you forsee.

I just thought of something. Since the mole is working for the townies, if he does his job well, his whole mafia will be dead except for him. So what then? Does he win with the townies? Or does he remain mafia, and have to be killed for the townies to win?

Edit: and when are you gonna send out the roles?
