Master Hand playable in SSB

Check it out on Kotaku. Apparantly all you have to do is circle your control stick clockwise 30 times then select any character. When you start the match you are the Master Hand! Totally awesome. Time to bust out the game and give it a try.

And you are correct Pale. Gave it a few tries and no dice. Read around a bit and I guess it is BS, even though the original source was Digg. Lock it up boys.

The flickering in the corner gave away that it was emulated.  And emulated or not, codes or a cheat device such as the Action Replay could've been used.

Speaking of cheat devices, I wonder if my overusage of the GameShark back in the N64 days has caused my cartridge to only allow Mario to be selectable in the 1P modes?

Yep, that was a by product of the old Master Hand code, as I recall. Still, the best cheat for the GS was being able to have a four player match on the Race Level (for which you had to get the damage high enough so that the characters would literally fly through the wall to lose a life... good times).

Gameshark 64 absolutely sucked. It corrupted several of my games.
I think it says on the box, 'No Hispanics' " - Jeff Green of EA

Being able to play the Cradle for multiplayer in Goldeneye made it all worth while though...
