The Missing Person's thread
« on: September 13, 2006, 01:44:17 PM »
For those of us that can't mind our own business and have noticed that some consistant posters have been mysteriously MIA

I have two:

Nemo: The last I saw him was in that thread which got locked recently. Haven't seen him since, did he abandon us?

Ruby Onix: Haven't seen Ruby around for awhile either!

He apparently was making up stories about PGC and it's posters over on another forum. I'm usually in favor of unbanning people (Rat, Rabicle, Wandering) but Nemo was going off the deep end, I say he will be happier elsewhere.

So is anyone going to post a missing poster that people actually MISS?

I'll post one:  Ms. Pikmin left the boards (and pretty much the entire internet) for personal reasons...

Doesn't Ruby Onix always go missing for long periods of time and pop up occassionally?

I miss PaLiDiN.  No one on this board cares about Fire Emblem except for him and me.

I also miss NintendoFanGirl.  She had the best Amazing Deals.

Whatever happened to Mouse_Clicker? I've always enjoyed reading his long-winded posts, although I don't always agree with them.

She's a mod at GAF, which should tell you "good riddance."  (Seriously...)

Mouse_clicker left because he believed PGC went downhill after Billy left...(which is true, really, but eh...)

I miss RABicle.  That guy was cool.  I wonder what he's up to these days?  Probably lying dead in a ditch somewhere....

I heard from some guy on the street that he swore to never return to PGC.

Does MC have a long, drawn-out thread where he got all emo on us, like Grey Ninja did?  If so, you need to link me to that.

Wow, you're right.
Dragona is modding over at GAF.  But why?

That place has more users, but the only way I can describe it is "wasteland"...

Interest in other consoles and developers besides Nintendo?  I've noticed PGC becoming more friendly to other consoles lately, but take say the BioWare news about the company developing for DS, the Talkback thread starts right out with people knocking on Bioware.  It's a very "us vs. them" environment here - if you're not on Nintendo's side, your products are worthless.

Edit: Having said that, the word "wasteland" is not a bad descriptor for some of the stuff that goes on in the GAF community.
That's my opinion, not yours.

It wouldn't be the first time he's disappeared.  He's probably either really busy with school or on a trip/vacation somewhere.

See, this is why I also change my signature to let everyone know whenever I go somewhere.  It prevents:

(a) everyone from asking where I am
(b) my feelings getting hurt when I come back a week later and no one even noticed I was gone (or worse, didn't care)

EDIT:  Bill's not missing; he posted last night.

He's probably just busy.  Or bored with the forums.  I hear he's spending most of his time on GAF and GameFAQS.
