Gotta go with Spak, if not this one, then only one new thread is necessary. There aren't enough posters here among all regions to need more than that.

Someone is saying the Japan show starts at 10 AM their time. That'd make it tonight at 9 PM EDT (6 PM PDT), no? The world clock puts them at 13 hrs. ahead or EDT.
"wow."

I think the problem is you guys didn't factor in Daylight Savings time.  It's going to start at 8PM EDT, 5PM PDT.

wtf is EDT? Eastern? I hope so, because that's what I'm getting, 8PM Eastern. I wonder why they're having all these different events when everyone who cares will know the price and release date after tonight.

Just the Japanese price and release date, or so the speculation goes...

I live in Edmonton, Mountain Time.  (For an American reference, that's the same time zone as Denver.)  We're 16 hours behind Tokyo, so 10:00 there tomorrow is 6:00 PM here tonight.  So we'll definitely know what's going on as of tonight.

Dunno... If Nintendo wanted to drag this out, maybe they would only release Virtual Console info in the Japan session, what's included in the box, system accessories, and launch titles at the US session, and then price and availiblity at the EU session.

EDT ... Eastern DAYLIGHT Time.  When you're in Daylight Savings Time, you're supposed to switch from using EST to EDT so that people who don't observe Daylight Savings know what time you're talking about.  Important stuff to know as we move into a global economy ... not to mention that there is at least part of one state that doesn't obersve DST.

No, they'll tell everything during the US and JP conferences, the EU conference will just be one guy entering the room in a bullet proof vest and muttering "We're sorry but Europe won't get the Wii before Summer 2007...".

Nope, you are wrong. What they meant is that the event finishes around 1am-EST and that's when we will start getting news.

Ok here is my FINAL prediction for the Wii events:

Price=179.99 with two wiimotes/nunchucks, Wiisports, basic red, yellow, white hookup
Release Date=November 2nd
New features=built in mic
New games=Kid Icarus and new Miyamoto IP
Virtual Console lineup: 25 VC games, mostly from 3rd parties (also an announcement that Sega CD games will be available in the future)
Launch lineup=20 launch games including ExciteTruck, Project Hammer, Zelda TP and all of Ubisofts announced games along with the other ports, in addition to Elebits
Specs=I doubt specs will be revealed but I have a feeling they are right around what IGN reported on but with slight increases here and there like a 1ghz processor. More ram
Playable games: Near final builds of Red STeel (which I predict to be a much more attractive experience), Zelda: TP, Batallion Wars, Mario Soccer, Mario Galaxy, Project Hammer, Metroid Prime 3, Excitetruck, Ubisofts other titles
On video only: Kid Icarus, Smash Brothers Melee (New footage), Day of Disastor (some gameplay footage), Miyamotos IP

The end

Price: $199.99-$229.99
Includes: Two Wiimotes, Wii Sports, a certain number of "points" used to buy VC games (not much, one or two games)
News: -A point system for buying VC games (different games will cost different amounts, not one set price for every system).  Certain games will be free with purchase of console game, Metroid with Metroid Prime 3, and MAYBE Zelda with TP.
- No mic sorry.  MAYBE headset if you're lucky.
- New accesories, don't know what
-Day of Crisis will be shown
-New IP will be shown
-No Kid Icarus sorry.
-Launch date in November, probably around 14 or something I don't know.
-Launches with games and stuff.
- Black and White available at launch.
-White would match my DS, but black would match my computer =(
-Don't know if I can wait till christmas =(
-BRANDY NEW games to be avaiable on VC
-There WILL be online launch games from at least Nintendo, BIG DAMN TRUCKS

Playable games: Twilight Princess will be shown big time, E3 sucked for TP.  Red Steel as well, which won't be as great as everyone is hoping.  New sword mechanics though, so that's cool.  Some other stuff, Excite Truck, Elebits, HAMMER, whatever.

My final, MEGATON prediction~
None of this will be true, or even revealed tomorrow.  Sorry lol.

I made predictions earlier, but here's one more: there will be a surprise that will make us smile.

Oh, and one other thing: they'll hold back on something for a little while ala Brawl.

Being vauge is fun.

Right, Sony's been developing explosions independently for YEARS. To claim that they stole the idea from Nintendo is frankly pretty ridiculous.

Well I do think there is a good chance for Kid Icarus since he is in Smash Brothers, it has been so long since we've seen him in a game it makes little to no sense to have him be a playable character without a game to back him up. On the mic, you may be right but I think if there is a headphone it will be included in order to get companies to utilize the microphone in games. The rest hey those are as good as predictions as anyone, including me .

How're you enjoying your Ice Climber DS?

Yeah, I didn't think so.  :P

The Ice Climbers were in Melee and we still haven't seen a return of them.  And if I had to guess, I think more people know who Pit is before seeing that he is a Smash Brother than the Ice Climbers.

Anyway, I'm not nixing the idea of another Kid Icarus game, and demand for it means a game is possible and even likely.  It'll probably be for next year, though, don't want to drown out his comeback with Zelda and Metroid this year!
