Wait...so, this is like, an event the press is invited to, and set up in an E3 like fashion?

Pale, I'm assuming from your wish of a playable Brawl that someone (you) at PGC was invited?

Yeah.  I'm seriously starting to worry if PGC is big enough to survive in this new style.  If PGC isn't invited to this then I've got a feeling that they probably won't be invited to E3.

That's a very disappointing though. Then again, E3, even the downgraded one, is still going to be much larger than this Nintendo event, and they'll probably invite more people.

Guys, apparently you didn't get the memo. We decided to keep "PlanetGameCube." Yeah, it's outdated, but it's so classy.

falafelkid upped a picture of his invite to the Euro event

I think the top half should be the cover of WiiSports. In any case, I'm no longer worried about how Nintendo will convey the Wii concept in ads. That's perfect!

Well, Reggie took it, but he gave it back.

I needed to use an alt account because of the avatar animation. (Yes, that alt account, like all my alt accounts, was NEEDED rather than just WANTED.)

What an intruiging question, my dear infection.

Why doesn't wandering "use" me to help him shovel out oversized, poorly animated crap?

Hmm.

By the way, wandering, I find it amusing that you don't know what "taking names" actually means.
'dupes' in the context means 'enemies.'

You know what I love? Being almost right.
• Forward compatibility in Zelda: TP
• The Wii (then Revolution) controller being an upside down mouse with a blue light?
• Sonar in the controller (speaker)

Look at that track record, pretty damned 71% if I do say so myself.  Now I bring you the final (mostly craptacular) speculation of them all!!!

Sometime is the past I said "fear not, for there are other specs". Well, that was wrong. Then why did I bring that up you say? I don't know. But what I do know is Nintendo has been full of surprises for about the last 18 months but enough of my useless pontificating.

On September 14th 2006  ??????

Nintendo buys Sega, Shenmue 3 Wii Exclusive, Jak and Daxter playable in SSB:B

What the hell... Jak and Daxter?  That isn't even close to being laughably possible.
