I guess my point is that all ads are annoying, of course, but they are necessities and I understand this. A site like IGN, which I pay for (sometimes I wonder why), has more ads than most free sites I visit, and many free sites I go to have next to NONE, save the occasional pop-up.
I never really notice any bandwidth loss with pop-ups because they load very quickly with low-data graphics, as I can tell, but interstitials can be VERY annoying at a place like IGN. I mean, I get them in-between screenshots, even. That's lame. I just hate walking back to the computer and seeing an ad when I was hoping the page would be ready for viewing.
It's a small complaint and I HONESTLY DON'T CARE AT ALL, but sicne this thread is about what ad's are better, I figured I'd throw in my two cents. Not a bid deal either way.
They keep this site free, and that's so helpful for most of us.
