We should start a Dvorak club. I've been using it a couple years now. I type faster, but that probably owes more to the fact that I never cared to become efficient with Qwerty. The bigger factor for me is that it's far more comfortable to use Dvorak. Less figer movement, therefor less fatigue.
How are you learning? I used some typing program I can't recall (like being in 3rd grade again, sans the game where you shoot at the other vehicle... with the power of words). I also printed out the alphabet plus punctuation, and affixed them to the sides of my keys, for dual-layout de-confusion.
