It IS a relatively undeveloped concept, this console-handheld gig, so I have no doubt that most of the ideas we're coming up with are "blah." Still it gets the creative juices flowing you know?
Hmmm...
I'm trying to think of a way to hold the DS in "book-mode" style and the Wiimote with your other hand. This affords you several things: two sets of speakers at the user's location, a touchscreen, a simple microphone, two small screens in the user's off hand, and possibly a shoulder button on the DS... plus the Wiimote.
But to use the touchscreen, would it be too much of a hassle to drop the Wiimote and pick up a stylus? Or do we have a plastic tip add-on that turns the wiimote into a giant honking stylus?
Here's a concept: The Wii represents a computer you're hacking into. But it can fight back and counter-infect your DS handheld computer. Or maybe it might jump and start to infect your "Wiimote" instead. The user is chasing a process/virus/hacking-experience through three devices: their wiimote (which when infected will start screeching out of its speaker, and you'd prob need to execute a particular button combo to "flush" the Wiimote's memory), their DS (which would require the user to use the stylus attachment or simple buttons presses to scroll through reams of code to find the offending cycle) and their Wii, which, being their main target, can be interacted with via the DS as a hacking tool, and/or the Wiimote.
hmm... think think think...
