Just one day after my rant about the lack of quality videos, I stumbled upon a high quality version of the Pokemon video. This isn't anything new, except that you can actually SEE what's going on without the screwed up colors and blurry lighting. You'll notice the background this time (cause I sure as hell couldn't see them in the last video). The resolution isn't big, but very clear.

Still don't like the clay/plastic look but the detail is better and I like what there doing with the attacks.  The DS and online stuff is sort of interesting.  Plus the release date.

Nice and smooth self-shadowing, like the stuff in Golf Pangya.  I guess we're gonna see more eye candy with the newer dev kits out.

*Bump*
This was the newest thread I found on this topic.

IGN has some new screens

The Pokemon aren't looking as plastic as they did with these pictures.  Though I don't like how they are smooth when it clear there should be some dips in there. (I guess I should call it texture.)
The Attacks look nice.

As well as those new screens there is a new video somewhere, im going to try and find it. But in this video, when the Groudon(orange one) attacks with its Slash or Daragon Claw it doesn't actualy hit its opponent. It does the classic stadium set up, where the pokemon attacks, then flashed over to the other and shows how they get hit. Now then, it doesn't look as pretty as this video so I assume it may be an earlier version, or the quality is just bad. As for the attacks, maybe some times the attacks will be shown hitting directly and some not, I guess to keep things interesting and random.

Here it is. Oh and the announcer is back, makes me happy.

It looks like real time to me, and it does look impressive. The new stills don't do the visuals justice.

Looks good, but nothing I would call "Impressive"...

The lighting was nice. This reminds me a bit of Toy Story, everything has that shiny plastic look to it.

I look at this video and I think to myself "Here is something the Gamecube just could not pull of graphically. I don't believe I've seen an X-box game that looked quite so impressive either."

I think this looks shockingly next-gen actually.

Just like Wind Waker was an impressive graphical title, this Pokemon game will be tossed aside as tiku tiku tiku!  by the masses.

This video is outstanding.  Not simply graphically, but the blend of art and graphics.

Oh cool another lazy turn based garbage fest with no actual gameplay at all. Nintendo's really showing just how innovative the Wii can be! :]

I think this is an example of Nintendo making a game for the "Hardcore" crowd since people have ate up games like this before. Hopefully it does have depth though, more so than the other Pokemon arena games.

Lets watch that depth.  I rather have the original Colisseum then something with a tacked on RPG.  Minigames, storage, and tournament combat.  Some Monster Rancher style training would be great.  In fact a lot of Monster Rancher Style training be cool.

I'm still waiting for a console traditional Pokemon.  Especially with online play.

The fact is I like everything but the Pokemon and the character.  They just don't seem to have the care and detail the rest of it got.  Though there is time for things to get better by the US/EU Release.  (This is launch in Japan right?)

There are some rumours that the Wii version can be controlled with a DS as well - pretty likely..

Hm.  Makes me wonder how long before Nintendo releases a Pokédex-style DS Lite.  I'd buy it, and I haven't played Pokémon in a good 5 or 6 years.
