Small things like that shouldn't be discounted, just like the small cut-away scenes to things like water dripping into a bucket in the Japanese Anime "Grave of the Fireflies" about two orphans during WWII Japan aren't meaningless either. I think these small things need to be appreciated for a truer understanding of game design.

I liked the Halo loading screens too....but comparing Halo to Grave of the Fireflies? Much as you once dubbed me the winner, I must now dub you the loser of the entire internet.

P.S. Is it my fault I don't watch any crappy anime to compare Halo to?

Oh. Well. Okay then.

P.S. You need to watch crappy anime to gain a truer understanding of anime design! :P

LOL. I saw this one coming. &P

Fortunately I'm a games student, not an animation student. *shiver* I'd probably go into a catatonic state if I had to watch bad anime ... the person across the hall cosplays and I already fear for my life/sanity.
