If i plant a money tree with 100,000 bells what are the odds of it growing ? and how much will I make off the tree?

I think the higher the amount of bells you plant the higher chance there is of the money tree growing. If it does grow you'll get 3 times the amount you planted, so if you plant 100,000 you'll get 300,000 from it. If it grows

You can't get a 100,000 bell bag anyway.  The most you can hold in your wallet is 99,999.

Well I planted 99K and got 3 bags of 30K, thus loosing 9K

I think it works like this.

If the tree sprouts after a week you get 3 bags of 30K.  The probability of it sprouting money is almost directly propotional to the amount you put in  the ground (with your house luck factored in).  So planting 50K would give you a 50/50 shot (+/- Luck) at earning 40K.
