All I want is Blast Corps.  I don't care if it's on the Wii Virtual Console, or Xbox Live Arcade ... I want to ram armored cars into things again!

As for the price, I'm hearing rumblings.  Lots and lots of rumblings, with very specific, provocative language.  Stay tuned.

I'm not paying $10 for an N64 game with that abyssmal classic controller.  Come out with an N64 style classic controller and then they'll get my money.

I believe it won't be long before a couple of geniuses in South China come up with a way to plug in classic controllers into the Wii. In fact, I'd be surprised if Nintendo themselves didn't release such a peripheral. Ah wtvr

Obviously the rumblings are coming from publishers and developers swearing at exactly how much Nintendo overpriced the Wii. I'd imagine the insults get pretty specific and provocative. I'm guessing a price of $350.

I'm a little disapointed with the classic controller as well.  I played the GBA recently and my hands started to hurt after 10 minutes, and this looks like it may be a repeat.  I'm hoping you can play virtual consol games with the gamecube controller.

Rick:  Will you create a Rumor Report with the information you have heard when you have the time...and for that matter a Rumor Report for all things Wii.  What could be the additional secrets.  When will we learn about the launch and prices.  Can I get this before my birthday?  (Nov. 17th)  I need to know all this and more.  A nice Rumor Report from someone gathering information from E3 would be great.

I don't think I made my point clear.  99 cent song lasts on average 3 minutes.  99 cent game on average at least an hour.  That fact of the matter is that it takes longer to go through a bunch of games so you need less of them.  Songs to get a full 30 minutes of tunes you just spent 10 bucks or so.  $1 for 30 minutes of gaming.  I mean come on.  You can't even get that at the arcade.  I know there are games that it works out to be about that much if not less but that makes the price even more ridiculous.  I'm sorry but $1 sounds nice but I don't think its practical.

Now on the other hand The best of the N64 gen should be at most $20.

Willie1234:  I think the original GBA is more ergonomic then all the other handhelds to date.

"I don't think I made my point clear. 99 cent song lasts on average 3 minutes. 99 cent game on average at least an hour."

By that logic a videogame should cost about ten times what a DVD costs because a movie only offers two hours of entertainment while a good game can offer 20 or more.

1.99 is easily a very fair price for NES games and SNES games.

2.99-4.99 for N64 games is also a very fair price point.

Then I could save the 5.99-9.99 games for brand new games made specifically for the virtual console, or games ported from CD games that are quite larger and took more work.

And it wouldn't be suprising if they ran promotions through other products for free downloads, sorta like what gets done with itunes.

these are the only games i can think of off the top of my head to pay $10 for:

GoldenEye *
Perfect Dark*
Sin & Punishment

*they are unlikely because of the whole Rare thing but i would love to play those on a controller thats anolog stick isnt worn out and "limp" (anyone else have that problem when going back to n64 games?)

also, i'd just like to say i dont have a big problem with the retro-mote. the few things that bug me is the z button on the top looks really out of place and hard to reach. i hope they redisgn it so that it has a few grooves in the back to rap your fingers around, instead of being sorta flat (atleast that what the pics make it out to be) and having the z trigger on the left hand groove where you index or middle finger could rest. that would make n64 games so much easier to play and have a similar feel to the n64 controller.
