Nemo........

Are you depressed?

Do you get beaten by your drunkard father?

Do all the boys pick on you at school?

Cause seriously.....you remind of Eore (the donkey from whinny the pooh)

Prepare the torches and pitchforks...I wasn't impressed with the conference.

True it was good, and I only read about it (don't have the machine power to stream it or download it), but considering the HYPE surrounding it, everything was pretty weak...

No price, a vague release date, they didn't show off their OWN games, no SSB, no controller shell...

Could someone explain all of this to me? Like I said I only READ about it, so maybe my dissapointment lies in the fact that I didn't see it...

I wasn't aware that Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Projet Hammer, and Excite Truck weren't Nintendo games. :-|

I checked out the Red Steel trailer and it was pretty cool.

I want to see some screens and movies for the other games though.  I didn't watch the press conference so I want to see what these other games look like.

Red Steel looks cool though because of how it plays and some of the little details.  The actual graphics I find aren't too hot.  They're good but not next-gen good.  The Wii so far looks like a Gamecube with a different controller.  That's okay I guess but I'm not paying that much for it.

Remember, this is the new Nintendo.  The one that likes third parties.  The one that is trying to bring them back.

I think Red Steel stole the show, honestly.

I would have liked to see a Madden pass thrown via Wiimote as that would have sealed the deal for many American gamers.

I was the one feeding Pap info so blame me if I didn't do an adequate job.

Looky here!!!

Doesn't suck for me, I bought a new GCN just for the Zelda Collectors disc. :P

I liked the presentation.  It was solid.  They still seem to be holding back tho.  I don't think Nintendo revealed everything about Connect24 yet.  I guessed a long time ago that the remote is a voip phone and while it may not be exactly that, I still think Connect24 means you'll be able to 'ring' friends when you want to play even if your buds aren't at their system.  All possible because the Wii will be always on.

Honestly I didn't expect alot about Smash Bros because, as was widely reported, the producer didn't find out that he was making the game until after E3 last year.    That isn't going to be game that's just whipped into shape ala EA in one year and thrown out into the marketplace.  This was Nintendo's best selling game this generation.   The sequel will get lots of love.

Also, Hammer looks like an excellent stress relief game.

Four players would be insane...and perhaps some online goodness wouldn't hurt?

I'm completely obsessed by this Disaster game.  I need to know more, but it looked pretty open ended.

Did anyone else notice that those renderings of Mario that "leaked" where he was on a lunar surface actually hold SOME merit now...

Although this game looked much prettier and more fun to play.

No, seriously, click this goddamn link!

This has 8 of the upcoming Wii games, including Disaster, Hammer, and even Wario Ware.

ian - graphics looked gc * 1.5  to me, not as good as sony and ms but better than gc. about what I expected.  also, I agree 100% that gc graphics are good enough now to feel emersed in a 3d environment, more realism just doesn't add that much.

red steel looked amazing though, come one.

Smash's link is nice but it has only one screen per game.  That's pretty weak there Nintendo.

Metroid Prime 3 looks like Metroid Prime 2.  Still nice obviously but I'm not seeing anything graphically that couldn't have been done with a Cube here.  It might just be that Nintendo takes crappy screenshots.

For those that were disappointed by the lack of a shell revelation: I do not understand your pain, but this should assuage it nonetheless. Looks pretty good, but I wonder how comfortable it can really be.
